IDEC Returning for the Fourth Edition – Transformation of Dental Health Resiliency

17 February 2025
Jakarta, 17 February 2025 – The Indonesia Dental Exhibition & Conference (IDEC) is set to return for its fourth edition from 14-16 November 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). Organised by the Indonesian Dental Association (PDGI) in collaboration with PT. Traya Eksibisi Internasional and Koelnmesse Pte Ltd, IDEC 2025 promises to be Indonesia’s largest dental trade exhibition and conference, targeting over 7,000 visitors, including general dentists, specialists, dental professionals, distributors, manufacturers, and dental students.

“The national health transformation, which has been a focus of the government, will continue to play a pivotal role in the future,” stated Drg. Usman Sumantri, MSc, Chairman of the Indonesian Dental Association. “As dental health and beauty care trends evolve rapidly, it’s essential for stakeholders to synergize and collaborate, fostering a resilient ecosystem that raises awareness about the importance of dental health as part of overall well-being.”

The theme, “Transformation of Dental Health Resiliency,” underscores the need for the dental healthcare ecosystem to embrace advancements in healthcare technology. With innovations in the field, dental professionals can enhance efficiency, accuracy, and patient care. Minimally invasive procedures offer improved patient comfort and quicker recovery times, demonstrating the significant impact of technological evolution on dental practices.

“IDEC, as a biennial business-to-business (B2B) exhibition, is a pivotal platform for brands to demonstrate their commitment to advancing dental health in Indonesia,” said Etty Anggraeni, Director of Traya Eksibisi Internasional. “With digitalisation and AI driving the latest innovations, participants have unparalleled opportunities to showcase cutting-edge technologies and connect with key decision-makers.”

Currently, Indonesia boasts 52,836 dentists, including 46,761 general practitioners and 6,075 specialists based on PDGI’s industry statistics. IDEC 2025 will provide these professionals with opportunities to learn, acquire knowledge, and explore new innovations in the dental health industry through its ecosystem of exhibitors and conference sessions.

Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and Vice-President Asia-Pacific of Koelnmesse Pte Ltd, added, “We are thrilled to bring back IDEC in 2025, an event that continues to elevate Indonesia’s dental industry. This edition will set new benchmarks, bringing together thought leaders and innovators to explore emerging trends and showcase cutting-edge technologies. With over 250 brands participating, IDEC 2025 will feature the latest advancements in dental equipment, products, and treatment methodologies, serving as a key platform for knowledge exchange and networking.”

IDEC is now open for exhibition space reservation. Trade visitor registration will open in June 2025, and online registration is free, and on-site tickets can be purchased at IDR 50,000.
